Matt Elliott

Executive Director, Energy Efficiency Alliance

Matt has spent over a decade working to advance state-level clean energy policies.  As the Executive Director of the Energy Efficiency Alliance (EEA), Matt supports the policy goals of both state affiliates, the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance (KEEA) and the Energy Efficiency Alliance of New Jersey (EEA-NJ), and is directly responsible for all operations, staffing, membership, and funding. Matt leads the EEA’s mission to increase the energy efficiency of buildings in the Mid-Atlantic through advocacy, education, and training. Matt was formerly KEEA’s Senior Policy Associate before his promotion to the Executive Director position in June of 2016.

Before his time at the EEA, Matt worked to protect Pennsylvania’s national parks from harmful energy development. Prior to that, he spent a number of years advocating for clean energy policies in New Jersey, successfully securing cutting-edge policies to promote efficient buildings, as well as solar and wind power. Matt is a graduate of Vassar College (B.A., Environmental Studies).
